![]() I managed to solve my customer problem with the steps I found in this Intuit TurboTax support forum. The solution which is very surprising and weird, do not make sense at all is to UNREGISTER the OCXs. Running with Adminitrator privilege and WinXP compatibility also did not work. Doing the regsvr32 thing did not get it to work. I had the same problem from a customer who installed my program on his brand new Toshiba with Vista Home. Support Statement for Visual Basic 6.0 on WindowsR Vista The Regsvr32 Tool (regsvr32.exe) is used to register or un–register a COM DLL. Please register the ocx files in the System Registry like this: Regsvr32 FileName.ocx. Still searching for a solution other than a re-write. We are having the same problem with MSWINSCK.OCX and TABCT元2.OCX I copied and registered this control in the system folder but when I try to open an exe file an error shows saying Component 'comctl32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.ĭoes anyone here have the same problem and fix it I get an error related with comctl32.ocx control in some Windows Vista.
